This legislation would add nearly 13 million acres of Alaska to a variety of federal land management programs.
S 369 - Endangered Species Listing and Delisting Process Reform Act
Sen. Thomas Craig (R-WY)
As officials consider removing salmon, eagles and other once-protected species from the list, this legislation requires that decisions be based on empirical, field-tested, scientific or commercial data. It also requires that species can only be included if recovery planning is possible.
